Our brain is not a planning brain

Shakespeare's famous phrase “To be or not to be” is increasingly becoming a question of planning. Because being depends on the organization of our time. And this is becoming increasingly complicated.
In the past, there were familiar processes and more routines. Processes were often not as complex as they are today. With post, telephone and later e-mails, there were also fewer information channels.
Others planned for us, such as our boss, manager or head of department. But this level of planning is gone. These jobs are no longer there.
In addition, we now have more channels, more tasks, more backlogs. We operate under pressure. We try to handle several things at the same time and are dominated by those who set the tone. And something is always popping up somewhere.
The only logical solution to deal with this is personal time management.
The problem: planning is not a given for humans. Our brain is not a planning brain. Nor have we learned to plan because it has been taken away from us in the past. This turns us into the pawns of our tasks.
This is where MasterPlanning comes into play. MasterPlanning is a simple system for getting started with planning. MasterPlanning is “reduce to max” and uses a few effective methods. For example, entering all tasks by hand in a calendar the size of a paperback. This approach provides an overview, creates structure and shows what is actually feasible. It also activates more neuronal connections in our brain.
